Acknowledgement of Ethics and Integrity
Reverend Kelly Kosky
I met Reverend Kelly Kosky at a time of intense transition in my life. Our ministry was
growing from a focus around one or two cities to a national model with multiple field offices. As a young director, it was new territory for me so befriending someone of Kelly’s wisdom and experience has been a Godsend. I am not sure that Hope Prison Ministry would be working in twenty-five prisons today except for Kelly’s guidance and support.
Even though Kelly has extensive responsibilities on two continents, he always had time for me. If I had a complicated problem or opportunity, Kelly will consider it a privilege to coach me through it. I have many people in my life who will help me if I ask them-Kelly Kosky takes joy in it. Kelly has lived a vibrant life and experienced intense and miraculous things and yet he has time to listen to the smallest details of my work.
Kelly has the faithful courage to confront the dark injustice of this world, but he has the joy and kindness that makes you want to follow him there. He brings people together with his vision for ministry, but it is his compassionate friendship that keeps us unified.
It would not be an exaggeration to state that I am a better leader, a better father, a better husband, and a more joyful person because I have Kelly Kosky in my life. It was a pleasure to write this letter, and I would consider it a privilege to speak with anyone on his behalf
With great appreciation and respect,
